Today I have for you one of the most simple projects on the planet: DIY HAND SOAP. Hand soap that isn't full of chemicals is pretty expensive in the stores. This can be made really inexpensively in a matter of minutes. Your hands will be softer, you will be saving money and you will feel better about what you have around your family! Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap- I can often find this on sale at Target for about $10. I use Peppermint in this recipe. Distilled or boiled water--You just want to boil any little bacteria that might be in your tap water so this lasts longer. Let it cool before using. This DIY Milk Bath recipe is both economical and luxurious so grab your robe, put on some relaxing music and get ready to soak away your troubles--all while using things you likely have in your pantry! DIY Milk Bath Ingredients: 1 & 1/4 cup Powdered Milk 1/4 cup and 1 tbsp cornstarch 1/4 cup and 1 tbsp baking soda Essential oil. You could do any of the following combinations but certainly not all in one jar! 6 drops Ylang Ylang & 6 drops Lavender 6 drops Rose & 6 drops Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood (HOLY MOLY GET BACK!) 4 drops Patchouli, 4 drops Lavender, 4 drops Cedarwood Others you may want to play with for your own combos: Jasmine, Geranium, Shutran blend, and Orange DIY Milk Bath Directions: Mix all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well. I'm all for anything that gets people washing their hands more this time of year! This DIY Candy Corn Soap is a lot of fun to make and it looks and smells great! I originally came up with the recipe with my niece and she loved it--so this is definitely mom tested, kid approved!
