Denver Broncos Cocktail Recipe

denver broncos cocktail recipe

Looking for an adult Denver Broncos Cocktail Recipe for the big game? This one has been a hit at our house.  1 part blue Curacao 2 parts Orange Patron Liquor (or you can use Vodka if you don't want it as sweet) 2 parts San Pellegrino Blood Orange Soda How To Mix the Denver Broncos Cocktail Recipe: Start with all well chilled ingredients. Pour the Soda into a glass and let it settle a bit. Add the Orange Patron or Vodka. Using the back of a large spoon pour in the blue Curacao to the middle of the glass. Do this slowly and carefully or you will end up with a green drink. If that happens, let it settle and you may be able to save it. Note: an orange colored sugar rimmer may be a great addition here depending on your glasses. In mine it takes away from the look. Need some more game ideas? I have been collecting some over on my Pinterest Football Food Board     ...

Ghirardelli Chocolate Peppermint Bark Snowflakes

December 13, 2013 by barb

chocolate peppermint snowflake bark collage

After my last post mocking the people of Pinterest  that produce these gorgeous things no mom can ever live up to, I am a bit embarrassed to post my latest project: Ghirardelli Chocolate Peppermint Bark Snowflakes. Last year I fell in love with Peppermint Bark Snowflakes that I saw on Pinterest. I became a little obsessed. The problem with these is that you cannot make them without this specific mold (affiliate link) Well, you can make them in other shapes or in a pan and break them up but let's face it, you are looking at these because they are simple and make you look like a genius. And that my friend, is all in the mold. I purchased my mold in November last year and got the first one by New Years. I turned around and bought a few more and they arrived by Valentines Day. *sigh* You may be out of luck for this year but it is cheap enough to try and put away until next like I did. OK, are you ready for this crazy complicated recipe to making you look like a genius? Ghirardelli Chocolate Peppermint Bark Snowflakes Step 1: Go to the store and buy Ghirardelli Chocolate Wafers. I bought these bulk bags at Sam's Club for $7.50 a piece. You need both Dark and White Chocolate. ...

Chemo Moonshine | Natural Nausea Remedy

Chemo Moonshine | Natural Nausea Remedy

Chemotherapy......UGH! What a nasty word in my life lately. Too many friends battling breast cancer, lupus and other horrific things. I feel helpless. What can any of us really do when a friend is at their absolute lowest moment but try to offer support? Last year when I was going through a low dose trial of chemo meds for lupus, I found something that really helped with my nausea. Through time I adapted the recipe to where the moment any one in our family is sick to their stomach, THIS is what they crave. My very special Chemo Moonshine (there is no alcohol, its just a cute name for it). It's good for just everyday upset tummies too! I am far from being a recipe blogger so please bear with me and know you can play with the amounts below to adjust to your taste. I like mine more cinnamony than gingery so I sometimes sprinkle in finely ground cinnamon. Recipe for Chemo Moonshine: A Natural Nausea Remedy Ingredients:  Apple Cider- 1 gallon, non-concentrated *do NOT use vinegar! 1 cup Honey or Agave Nectar (I like to use Manuka honey for its healing properties) 5 Cinnamon Sticks Whole Cloves, about 2 tablespoons 1-2 inches Fresh Ginger Root (peeled and chopped or ...

A Bit About Me…

I truly love the wonderful chaos of motherhood, but as my kids grew, I started craving a different kind of pace and a sense of calm I couldn't quite find.

Moving to the coast, which is my happy place, really changed how I live the day to day. Now, I just try to bring more calm into our days, even though they're still pretty busy.

It's not about making life perfect. It's just finding some balance and little bits of peace in the middle of the happy hustle, letting the salt air work its magic on the chaos.

Knock, Knock! Anyone home?

I no longer participate in PR campaigns of any type. I consider this blog to be in retirement but here for anyone who would like to read. I started this journey in 1998 with a company I named “Chaotic Communications”. I am so happy to have lost that chaotic feeling. Today I have rebranded that life and work to simply “Indigo Ink“. You can click that link to find my latest projects.
