I am going to share some simple things you can use at home to help with that and then I will show you all how I have always done it and you can choose which technique works best for you to start taking great oily photos. DIY: Use White Space I am a huge lover of simple photos with lots of white space. What's the simpliest way to start? A poster board or white board (I personally don't like dealing with the glare off a white board but lots of people use it). The Rule of Thirds The poster board is going to be your photo canvas and the chair you are going to stand on and shoot down on the photo so make sure it is sturdy!
